March 15, 2005 - Bye Bye Balls

I went to the doctor today for my post-op follow up. He removed my staples and the two drain bulbs. The staples being removed didn't hurt really, but the drain bulbs hurt like hell. On the outside I had about 2 feet of tubing (like IV tubing) attached to these two bulbs, but on the inside I had a smaller thinner tubing that was about 8 to 10 inches long. My husband said it was long and thin. It hurt like hell when they pulled it out, but once it was out - I had instant relief, just like an IV!
